Divine Ink Art Gallery – Celebrating Female Artists
At Divine Ink, we believe that creativity extends beyond the skin. Our art gallery is a space dedicated to showcasing incredible artists and their work, rotating every few weeks to bring fresh inspiration to our community. This month, we are proud to feature a talented lineup of female artists, with a special focus on our main gallery artist and additional stunning works displayed within our tattoo studio.
Featured Gallery Artist: Julissa Aguilar
This month’s main gallery feature is Julissa Aguilar, whose latest collection explores two distinct styles: anime-inspired illustrations and hyper-realistic portraits. From vibrant, expressive anime characters to breathtakingly detailed realism, her work showcases a mastery of both fantasy and lifelike artistry. Stop by to experience her pieces in person, learn about her creative journey, and maybe even take home a piece that speaks to you.
Julissa Aguilar
Hi! My name is Julissa Aguilar, but you can call me Julie!
I’m a 21-year-old local artist originally from Los Angeles, California, now based in New York. My work explores both anime and realism portraits, and I specialize in acrylic painting, alcohol-based markers, and colored pencils.
I’ve had the opportunity to make guest appearances at Poughkeepsie High School, inspiring students to discover their artistic potential. Additionally, I was awarded a scholarship to RIT’s art programs, where I continue to refine and expand my creative skills.

Beyond our gallery, we also showcase artwork throughout our tattoo studio, featuring the creative talents of:
Daniela Charter
Daniela is an artist and art educator based in the Hudson Valley who graduated from SUNY New Paltz. Her work is built around themes of identity and self-discovery. It combines representation and abstraction, exploring the relationship between form, color, and emotion.
“ My experiences shape my identity; they inspire and shape my work. My goal is to create a sense of depth and complexity, to invite the viewer to look beneath the surface to discover the emotional and psychological layers that are hidden there.”
Daniela believes art has an important role in childhood development and continues to refine her artistic style and technique.
